About Me

What’s the deal with the name? HalfPint?

In order to stand apart, be memorable, and overall just love your product/brand, the BEST practice is to fully embrace all of the wonderful things that make you… you. So, in that spirit, I have named my business HalfPint - because that was my nickname in high school (one of many). In case we’ve never had the pleasure of meeting, I’m a lot of personality, laughter, heart and creativity tightly wound into a tiny little 4’10” frame. Aka - I’m short. Like really, really short. But it makes me…me. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. Embrace your strengths, quirks and all things that make you special. I’m here to help you do that, too.

DESIGN

I legitimately get just as excited as you do on projects. I love, love, LOVE when I am able to bring your vision to life. My specialty is making sure your product showcases YOUR personality, look and attitude.

Listen, I know there are a lot of designers out there, and you want to make sure I’m legit. I get it. Here are a few of my credentials. I started by designing my first professional logo 18 years ago. I’ve been steadily working on graphic design since then. To get a better idea of the other end of production and marketing, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Advertising Management at Brigham Young University. I went on to teach design programs to professional users, to better know the ins-and-outs of the Adobe & Microsoft Programs. Currently I own HalfPint Design, and most recently was Marketing Director for a Commercial Real Estate company based in Denver, where I’ve continued to act as their primary graphic designer for a total of nearly 10 years.

So, elephant in the room - I know you have a lot of choices when it comes to hiring a designer. I hope I’m a good fit, but if not, that’s okay! I want you to succeed with the best fit for you! Find someone who can understand your vision, and who you think will best do the job. Just do me a solid and promise me you won’t have someone make it in Microsoft Word, ok?

Street Cred.

“Regard your good name as the richest jewel you can possibly be possessed of -- for credit is like fire; when once you have kindled it you may easily preserve it, but if you once extinguish it, you will find it an arduous task to rekindle it again. The way to a good reputation is to endeavor to be what you desire to appear.”
